Meet Your Guide

As a dedicated meditation teacher with over two decades of experience, I guide students through the transformative journey of nondual awareness and spiritual awakening.

My path has been shaped by training in Tibetan traditions, ordination as a Zen monk, and extensive studies in California and Japan. My approach integrates independent studies of nondual traditions across Eurasia, with an emphasis on Stoic and Neoplatonic philosophy, as well as Eastern Tantric traditions like Kashmir Shaivism.

For over 20 years, I studied with the renowned nondual teacher Andrew Cohen (student of Papaji and Ramana Maharishi), supporting his organization Manifest Nirvana during his final years and spending formative time in Tiruvanamalai, India with him, his wife Alka Arora, and main pupil Daniela Bomatter.

As the co-founder of the ICON conference (Integral Conference of North America), I've created spaces for integral theorists and metamodernists to gather and exchange ideas biannually.

My teaching emphasizes the integration of ancient wisdom with contemporary understanding, positioning nondual awareness not as an esoteric concept but as the natural birthright of every human being.

Discover the Practice of Real Meditation

Believe it or not, meditation is not about becoming calm or even more spiritual. It's about waking up to the simplicity of this moment — where nothing is missing, and everything belongs as it is.

The true art of meditation is learning to have nothing, know nothing, and be no one.

When you stop searching for meaning and start resting as awareness itself, a quiet joy begins to rise from within. No effort. No goal. No problem. Just the gentle yet profound presence of what IS—the experience of our Original Nature, our Source.

Through guided practice, dialogue, and embodied inquiry, you'll learn to rest in awareness — not as a technique, but as a way of living.

Find Your Way

Meditation isn't a performance; it's a return to your natural state.

If you've ever felt:

  • Like some meditation methods were too rigid or gimmicky
  • Overwhelmed by stress or the need for constant self-improvement
  • Drawn to presence but unsure where to begin

Then you're ready to find your way home — through authentic meditation practice.

Finding your way
Discovering the self

Discover the Self

Who are you when you stop trying to be someone? In meditation, we turn attention inward not to find answers, but to fall into the mystery of being. Here, the "self" that strives, judges, and fears begins to dissolve. What remains is boundless awareness — alive, luminous, free.

A Timeless Practice

You don't need to live in a monastery or renounce the world.

Meditation is for people who live fully — who love, create, lead, and serve.

Drawing from the great traditions, this practice bridges the ancient and the modern. It invites awakening not as retreat, but as participation — discovering our true selves as part of an evolving universe. Whether you sit for five minutes or dive into a silent retreat, the invitation is the same:

Be still. Realize. Live.

Practice Mentorship

Personal guidance for your spiritual journey

In Sanskrit, there's a beautiful word — Kalyanamitra — which means "spiritual friend." This describes the relationship I cultivate with mentees: not an authority figure elevated on a pedestal, but a compassionate companion walking alongside you on the path.

One-on-one mentorship provides personalized guidance for practitioners who are ready to graduate from occasional meditation sessions and commit to deepening their practice. Together, we navigate both the heights of spiritual insight and the practical challenges of integrating awareness into everyday life.

My Approach to Student-Teacher Dynamics

The traditional guru-disciple model can be problematic in contemporary contexts. My approach emphasizes mutual respect, appropriate boundaries, and the recognition that awakening is your birthright, not something bestowed by a teacher.

I view the teacher-student relationship as a context for recognizing our shared nature, not as a hierarchy of spiritual attainment. While I offer guidance based on experience, the ultimate authority in your journey is your own direct understanding.

Sessions take place via video call or in person when possible, typically meeting bi-weekly or monthly depending on your needs and schedule.
